Welcome to the Society of Anaesthetists of the South Western Region website. SASWR was established in 1947 and it has over 500 members.
The society holds two scientific meetings each year and it publishes a peer-reviewed journal: Anaesthesia Points West. Several bursaries and prizes are awarded by the society each year. Meetings are also held overseas in association with other European anaesthetic societies.
