Printed posters must be printed on A0 paper and in a portrait orientation.
Candidates will need to stand by their posters in the coffee breaks of the meeting to discuss their work with the judges. Entrants must attend at least one of the days of the meeting, the results are announced on the second day.

Essential points for both presentations and posters
Trainees entering the Intersurgical or poster prizes are expected to attend the forthcoming scientific meeting.
If the work being presented is a joint trainee & consultant project then the extent of each person’s contribution must be outlined in the submitted abstract and either visible on the final poster or included on a slide during the presentation.
All work presented must have been conducted within the region encompassed by SASWR (Severn or Peninsula Schools). Studies performed outside of these two regions, even if carried out by a member of the society, will not be considered. The only exceptions to this rule will be national or international projects conducted by a member whilst they are a trainee within these regions.
The winning oral presentation (abstract) and poster (text/figures) will be published on the SASWR website to provide inspiration to future candidates.
